There is a fantastic charity in Balham called Little Village. It aims to provide children with a clean, warm and safe winter. They were featured on the Sunday Politics this week, it's well worth looking at the work they do.

Keeping drug cheats out of professional sport must be a top priority for our Government.

Today, in my capacity as Shadow Minister for Sport, I visited the the testing lab for UK Anti-Doping to see some of the work being done to retain the integrity of UK Sport.

Over eighty constituents wrote to me this week with concerns over pay and conditions for Nurses working in the NHS. 

​Nurses do a fantastic job in extremely difficult circumstances, yet the determination, professionalism and compassion of nurses comes against the backdrop of years of pay restraint. Indeed, the Royal College of Nursing estimates that since 2010 there has been a real-terms drop in earnings of 14%. 

This is entirely unacceptable, and I will continue to pressure the Government into giving Nurses the pay they deserve.
