It was great to see so many members at the all member meeting today. If you are a member come along and meet new people - at each meeting there is always a new face so don't be worried.

Next month the CLP will be holding their AGM - it would be great to see faces old and new putting themselves forward for positions. 

Over the weekend I, along with hundreds of Labour supporters travelled to Liverpool for the Annual Conference. 

It was a busy weekend full of meetings and events. I was delighted to speak at a number of events including London Region, LabourList, Labour Friends of Bangladesh and Bond. 

I met with a number of organisations including BT, the Royal College of Nurses and NUS. I also spoke with the Alzheimer's Society - thank you to everyone who emailed me about their stall. 

I am always happy to put on my trainers and a pair of boxing gloves, but today I got to do it for a good cause. 

Congratulations to The Gym Group Tooting for a fantastic charity day in support of St George's Hospital Charity. 

St George's Hospital Ronald McDonald House turned ten this year. 

This House do so much fantastic work for families going through some of the toughest times they may ever face. I am delighted to support the Ronald McDonald House. 

I was fortunate enough to meet numerous families who benefit from the hard work of those who put their life and souls into the House. Thank you for letting me celebrate with you. 

I have been very fortunate to be invited to a number of street parties this summer. I capped them off with Avarn Road.

Thank you for such a warm welcome. I have thoroughly enjoyed being able to spend time out and about with residents and seeing just how well our community come together - we certainly have some great bakers and chefs in Tooting!

Thank you to the Balham and Tooting Community Association for inviting me to attend their beautiful flower show at Balham Baptist Church.

There were so many brilliant arrangements made by members of our community to highlight the use of flowers throughout Shakespeare's work. 

Congratulations to all involved for such a great event. 

Today I launched my newest campaign to Tidy up Tooting. Other high streets in Wandsworth look much better than our streets in Tooting and I want the Council to explain why it is not the same for Tooting. 

I am asking residents to take pictures of any fly-tipping they see in Tooting and report it on my campaigns page. I will then send this on to the Council and work with them to ensure we can all be proud of our streets. 

Today it was revealed that Air China were warning passengers of visiting certain areas of London for their safety. I was angered by these comments and spoke out strongly against them. 

I am honoured to represent and serve such a diverse community in Tooting and the amount of local groups that bring us together is proof that diversity is a positive. 

I was so outraged that I wrote to the Chinese Ambassador inviting him to visit Tooting...I am still awaiting his RSVP.

I enjoyed an evening with Bond and Restless Development hosted by the APPG on the United Nations Global Goals for Sustainable Development. Hearing from numerous young people who have been at the forefront of both setting the global agenda as well as holding Government's around the world to account on the goals that were signed over a year ago. 

Proof that young people should always be included in decision making.
