​​It was an absolute pleasure to visit Banham HQ, and the Banham Academy in Earlsfield. It's fantastic to see such a great local business offering apprenticeship opportunities for people in the local area. 

I look forward to working with them in the future to further expand on my apprenticeship programme. 

​What an incredible week it's been for Tooting, Lonely Planet confirmed what we all knew by naming it as one of the 10 coolest neighbourhoods in the world. 

Being Tooting born and bred it's been so wonderful to see all our community has to offer in the national spotlight. 

I look forward to seeing our area go from strength to strength, and long may it continue. 

The kids had a great afternoon decorating cakes at Dee-licious Bakery today in Tooting. 

It's always worth checking out the shop to see what tasty delights they have in store. Lovely to see Nazish and the team doing well. 

It was lovely to welcome Haute Elan to Tooting today, and try on some of the wonderful clothes they have in store. 

Tooting is made even greater by the fantastic array of local businesses we have, and Haute Elan will be a great fit for the local community. 

Last week I had the pleasure of making and tasting some delicious mocktails at Brick & Liquor, and this week they have been named as GQ's Bar of the Week. 

An amazing achievement for them, and another fantastic example of an exciting business in Tooting doing well. 

This week I met with South Western Railway to discuss
the recent improvement works at Waterloo and how
they have affected service at Earlsfield Station. 

After intervening on behalf of constituents, South
Western Railway have now agreed to declare the period 'void' in terms of travel and will refund season ticket users who submit a claim here. 

The longer platforms at Earlsfield secured by Sadiq Khan in his time as MP for Tooting will mean the station is ready  for the longer trains coming at the end of this year. 

It was a pleasure to meet with James Chad from We Grow Start Ups, and Robert from Ben's Canteen, to talk about their exciting new project in Earlsfield. 

This new venture offers people a creative and community spirited venue to work in, and will be particularly helpful for those who work remotely, or are starting a solo entrepreneurial business.
