Cllr Leonie CooperLeonie has lived in Furzedown since 2003. She has been a Furzedown Councillor since 2010, is an active member of the Furzedown Community Network & has helped with the Big Day Out, the Christmas Market and Jazz on the Lawn, is active as one of the Friends of Tooting Common (which she jointly set up) leading nature walks. Previously, Leonie drove the minibus for the Furzedown Project for a number of years.

Cllr Sam LewisSamantha has lived in Furzedown with her family for decades. She is committed to working to remove barriers to opportunity for children, having spent a large portion of her career working as a teacher specialising in SEND.
Samantha has been active locally, volunteering with refugee groups, and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Furzedown Community Network. |
Cllr Judi GasserJudi is an active local Councillor and Wardsworth Council's cabinet member for Environment. She was one of the organisers of the Furzedown Festival, she helped residents lobby for improvements to the Rec, she sings with The Great Gustos and ‘starred’ as one half of Daisy the Cow in the Furzedown panto.
Judi was one of a group of local residents volunteering at Penwortham and Furzedown School Streets. She is a a committee member of the Furzedown Community Network, Friends of Furzedown Rec and A Gift from Furzedown. |
