Today I was absolutely thrilled to welcome the fantastic Jimmy Asher Foundation (JAF) to Parliament. There were plenty of questions on how young people can get more involved and active in politics. 

I look forward to working with the team at JAF for many more years to come. 

It was great to meet with NFL UK team at Parliament today. We discussed the work done in communities around the country and the possibility of a UK franchise. 

I'm now the proud owner of a personalised Jacksonville Jaguars jersey, my American Football team, and will be cheering them on over the course of the season! 

Yesterday I spoke out in Parliament on the tragic situation developing in Myanmar. We must do more to stop the unspeakable crimes that are being committed.

At Britain’s best, our humanity does not have borders. The Rohingya need us to act now,  and prove it.

Last week at the England vs. Slovenia match at Wembley, there were 28,000 empty seats. 128 MPs have signed my letter calling on the FA to give spare tickets to schools across the country.

​It's great to be in Bangladesh this week with VSO, working with their fantastic Girls Not Brides network. 

The work being done will bring Child Marriage to global attention, and build policies and programmes that will make a difference in the lives of millions of girls. 

Despite new funding announcements from the Government, the reality tells a very different story. 

Schools across Tooting still face real terms funding cuts in the coming months and years.
