Community Safety - Wandsworth

It was great to be joined by Wandsworth Police for my community safety event last night.

We discussed local crime concerns, updated residents on local safety initiatives, and learned new ways to keep our homes safe. A big thank you to all who joined - the community feeling is strong.

Additionally, it was great to hear from local residents about how we can make our area safer & about our success of the #SafeSpace campaign. Finally, we discussed future plans to tackle violence against women and girls.

Rutherford House School

It was great to be joined by Lord Wajid Khan at Rutherford House School.

We met with the school's Pupil Leaders who had some insightful questions about our work in Parliament, and also taught us about their values of resilience and respect. What a credit to the next generation!

So glad that I was able to attend this event with Lord Khan.

Racial Justice at St John the Divine

I was honoured to give a sermon at St. John the Divine Church today on racial justice - talking about me work in Calais and how we can all work against racism in our community.

We all must stand together for racial justice!
