Tooting

Tooting Bec

Cllr Sheila Boswell

Picture
Sheila is an experienced councillor, with years of service to the community already under her belt.  Whether it’s fighting cuts to children services, helping to save jobs, campaigning for safer streets, getting green spaces opened up to the public or getting rubbish cleared from our streets, she will always speak up for local residents.

She worked for Save the Children for many years on national and global campaigns including Make Trade Fair and Make Poverty History.

She’s lived in the borough for over 25 years where she raised her son as a single mum.

Cllr Annamarie Critchard

Picture
Annamarie has lived in Wandsworth since 1981 and has been a councillor for Tooting ward since 2014. Her background is in IT and the NHS, working with GPs as a practice manager and then a commissioner.

She has been on the Planning Committee for much of her time as councillor and has seen much of London's new skyline through the committee.

As well as being a councillor, she volunteers at her local Oxfam bookshop, helps with a local Woodcraft Folk group for children, supports AFC Wimbledon and plays bridge.

Cllr Paul White

Paul has been a football coach, youth leader and is a councillor now. He has always been motivated
to help in the community.

He volunteers for Tooting Community Kitchen Foodbank, is a member of Community Renewable
Energy Wandsworth and has been Housing speaker for the Wandsworth Labour Group.

Paul wants to increase substantially the number of decarbonised, decent, secure, lower rent and
council rent homes, tackling energy poverty, rising homelessness and waiting lists numbers in the
borough.

Tooting Broadway

Cllr Kemi Akinola

Picture
Kemi Akinola is the Deputy Leader of the Wandsworth Labour group, long time Tooting resident and a food justice activist.

She campaigns for equality and income based solutions to poverty. Kemi is the CEO and founder of Be Enriched, a Tooting charity which has been providing a free safe welcoming sit down meal for the Tooting community since 2013.

She is very concerned with the cost of living crisis and how it is detrimentally affecting our neighbours and all residents especially the most vulnerable.

Cllr Sean Lawless

Sean was born and brought up in Wandsworth, he now lives in Tooting Broadway where he is raising his young family. Sean is often seen walking his small dog, Yoshi around the area.

Elected at the by-election in January 2024, Sean is committed to working with me, the Council and local police to make Tooting safer, cleaner and greener.

Cllr Rex Osborn

Picture
Rex has lived in Tooting with his family for decades and is an avid local history buff. He turned his passion into a career, having qualified as a Blue Badge tourist guide offering tours of Tooting, London, and further afield. Rex is easily identifiable wherever he goes by his iconic red scarf.

Rex’s priorities are the revitalisation of Tooting town centre, a fairer deal for renters and robust action on crime and safety.
