Andy Gibbons 

Andy has lived with his family in the Tooting Broadway for over thirty years and has been a councillor for 27 years. Since retiring from teaching he has focused on Council work.

He is an experienced councillor who has been the Labour lead on Education and Finance & Sustainability, where he has helped shape the Council’s Covid recovery strategy and the Wandsworth Environment and Sustainability strategy, whilst challenging the Conservative Council on its limited action in these key areas.

He has worked with the local community to introduce School Streets, open the Mellison Road Pocket Park and improve safety at Tooting Primary School. He is currently running for the councillor position for Tooting Broadway.

Kemi Akinola 

Councillor Kemi Akinola is the Deputy Leader of the Wandsworth Labour group, long time Tooting resident and a food justice activist. She campaigns for equality and income based solutions to poverty. Kemi is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Be Enriched, a Tooting charity which has been providing a free safe welcoming sit down meal for the Tooting community since 2013. She is very concerned with the cost of living crisis and how it is detrimentally affecting our neighbours and all residents especially the most vulnerable. 

Kemi is running for the councillor position for Tooting Broadway.
