In Tooting we are proud of our multiculturalism. The rich tapestry of cultures and people who have lived, worked and thrived here for generations, make us stronger as a community. 

At this time, we stand united against any form of Islamophobia, racism and hatred towards minority groups across the country. The racist attacks being carried out by far-right thugs seeking to divide us must be condemned and the most serious action brought against them.

​Politicians, leaders and community members have a duty to stand up and seek to heal our nation, not sow the seeds of division.

We pride ourselves on being a loving and peaceful pocket of London, where everyone is embraced and welcome regardless of their background. That is the community we know and love, and we will always endeavour to keep it this way.
