Elections to Wandsworth Council will take place on 7 May. Since 2022 Wandsworth's Labour Council have kept the lowest council tax in the country while still investing in brilliant local services.

Tom Ainscough-Pollard

Tom is a lifelong Wandsworth resident and he has extensive political and campaigning experience in the Labour Party.

He started his career in the Foreign Office and from 2021 was an advisor to Harriet Harman. He has spent his career focusing on women’s equality and reform of the criminal justice system and he currently works for Uma Kumaran MP.

Tom Armstrong

Tom Armstrong, a committed campaigner,  has been an active member of Tooting Labour Party since moving to Tooting in 2001.

​He was previously Tooting and Graveney Ward Chair and Organiser. As a trade union leader he was UCU Branch Chair at SOAS University of London.

Jo Rigby

Jo has lived in Balham for almost 20 years and has two children who attend Chestnut Grove Academy. First elected as a councillor in Earlsfield in 2018, she is now proud to represent Balham.

​Jo is a passionate campaigner for active travel and a cleaner Wandsworth, with a strong focus on waste, recycling and tackling fly-tipping.​

• You DON’T need your poll card to vote: just turn up and give your name and address.
• You now need photo ID to vote.
• You have three votes, you can vote for all three Labour candidates.
• If you make a mistake on your ballot paper, ask for another.
