Fly-Tipping in Tooting

I would like to say thank you to all constituents who have been engaging with my Tidy up Tooting Campaign. After a month of constituents reporting fly tipping I met with Council to discuss what can be done going forward.

Since my meeting with the Waste Team at Wandsworth Council they have announced stiffer fines for fly tippers and a larger enforcement team.

I will be continuing to monitor the fly-tipping situation around Tooting to ensure we are all able to live in safe and clean area.

Hi Rosena

The fly tipping problem on tooting high street is worse they ever. I live on Brudenell Road and the junction where it meets Tooting High Road is piled up with rubbish every week if not everyday, as are most of the areas surrounding bins on the high road at Tooting Bec. It’s a health hazard and I can’t think of any part of London that has such a problem. What is being done please?
