Twitter, I need your help!
Almost 600 hard-working and dedicated Mitie employees who work at St George's Hospital are facing cuts to hours and redundancies, despite promises that this wouldn't happen when the new contract was signed. I am working with the GMB Union to help bring about a resolution. I reached out to the Mitie CEO, asking him to meet with me to discuss this - so far he has ignored my request, instead, posting an incredibly patronising response on Twitter. Staff are currently being balloted on whether or not to strike over the issue - I am standing by them and we must show them that they have our support! So this is where you can help. Tweet to the Mitie CEO, asking that he meets with me. St George’s staff deserve better, the patients deserve better and Tooting deserves better! Thanks for your support. |
